a friend visiting
I went to Fotografiska for the second time this week (I know, I hang out there too much) with a new friend of mine. It's such a great place for inspiration and Mapplethorpe's exhibition is really something. If you have the opportunity to go there you really should! Mapplethorpe's pictures are ingenious composed and the lightning, especially in his still lifes are so carefully and perfectly done. He possessed the skill to make the most trivial things such as strawberry's and lettuce look interesting and simultaneously dicrease the sexual tentions of bared genitals in other pictures. That really amazes me.
